have been servicing, upgrading and repairing all sorts
of interesting custom consoles and standard recording
consoles and power supplies since 1969.

upgrade console pre-amps, re-cap individual console
strips and re-cap entire consoles. We also offer special
modification services and complete Power Supply
rebuilding and upgrading. If you have a single channel

GRS
Systems, LLC is a wholesale distributor and manufacturer
of digital audio & graphic equipment and audio/video training tools.
The GRS Pro Audio Division was born out of this entity,
being the production end of our software CD ROM's and
other products that GRS Systems manufactures.
GRS
Pro Audio operates a full 'state of the art' production
studio and manufacturing plant. We build and maintain
professional audio gear for our own use, for commercial
studios and for resale. In 2004, GRS Pro Audio expanded
its offerings to include specific parts for the growing
DIY group of pro audio equipment builders.

Pro Audio's founders have been installing, maintaining.
modifying and even redesigning audio consoles, tape
machines and most other pro audio equipment since 1969.
Our
'off the shelf' online product offerings are limited, by
design... but ever growing. We will be adding a limited
stock of high quality audio parts to our line in
incremental steps. Other new offerings include the GRS line of
custom Power Supply systems for upgrading recording
consoles and other equipment. Also added are select
Hammond power transformers, custom designed racks and
cabinets with engraved front panels and some unique specialty parts.

Supplies for recording consoles, pre-amps and tape
machines. All of our custom PSU's are hand built in our
shop and carry a full 5 Year Warranty!

Master Recorder from 'The Record Plant' Mobile Truck with upgraded
electronics, new heads, new pinch rollers and all new bearings with rebuilt motors

We
are expert at rebuilding and modding the M79 Power
Supplies. We upgrade the PSU with higher reliability
current pass transistors and with better quality / low
ESR / hi-temp computer grade filter caps. We also
upgrade the bridge rectifiers to specialty units that
handle higher currents and produce less line noise.
SONY
APR-5000 & APR-24 RESTORATION, PARTS & SERVICE
We
service and sell refurbished Sony APR-24's. This one is
being serviced and fully re-capped. Heads are being
re-lapped and the power supply is being rebuilt. The
transport is being upgraded with new precision bearings
and new rollers. The tape path will be fully aligned and
all marginal parts will be replaced or rebuilt.
REMOTE
REPAIRS AND UPGRADES
Sony
APR-24 Remote repairs. Yes, we can fix your
non-operational switches! These switches are no longer
manufactured by JAE in Japan. However, in co-operation
with the switch manufacturer, we offer a specialized
disassembly and rebuilding service that will restore
life to your dead switches! Really!
