The M79's PSU location in the bottom of the cabinet makes it a prime target for anything falling into the machine!

The power supply sits just below and slightly offset from the transport deck above. And with all of the vent holes in the PSU's cover, what ever falls into the cabinet from the transport deck above usually goes inside of the Power Supply! Sometimes with disasterous reslults!

The picture above shows a long lost (and rusted) razor blade that was used for tape editing. It fell right into the power supply regulator board, shorting power regulator from a resistor lead to ground.
